Here is a massive necklace I strung using well worn, soulful, old Moroccan Berber coral beads (collected over many decades), and interspersed among these beauties are other beauties in the form of old Amazonite beads, old Berber silver charms and antique coral n enamel Kabyle charms from Algeria (swipe). These beads were all part of dowry necklaces passed down from mother to daughter - with the passing of the times, and most modern daughters preferring more western jewelry, most old necklaces were taken apart and the components sold, ironically, to western collectors. Branch coral is beloved and believed to help blood veins strong and healthy when worn. The large center silver Berber round pendant opens up into a box with the four corners of world motif.  Prayers, blessings and precious items would the been put inside.
