VINTAGE CUSTOM HOLSTER BUCKLE FOR DERRINGER W/ TURQUOISE

Description

This is a nice vintage custom made belt buckle.  Holster buckle for a derringer pistol, sterling silver with 4 turquoise stone settings and stamping in the silver.  Marked on the back with an ARROWHEAD hallmark and STERLING.  Measures just under 5" long, 3 1/4" tall.  Not sure how the derringer would secure to the buckle, there appears to be something missing from the back; no idea how the buckle would have been made originally so not sure what exactly is missing or how it worked.  Well made, nice workmanship.  Displays well. Weight is 108 grams (3.8 ounces).
