This is a set of 9 old silver berber niello pendants from morocco.
This type of pendant usually is worn with amber,coral and different type of beads in the necklace.The pendants is hand chased and beautifully decorated with niello technique motifs.
Niello, is a black metallic alloy of sulfur with silver, copper, or lead that is used to fill designs that have been engraved on the surface of a metal (usually silver) object.
