Russian Barbie

Description

This Doll of the World is meant to show off traditional Russian dress. I don't know how well they accomplished that, but she is a pretty doll. Her blonde hair is still in its original braid with ribbon at the end. Her face paint is still bright and beautiful. The dress is something lightweight and shiny. The white blouse and orangey-red skirt are one piece, with the gold-trimmed orange top as a second layer. This outfit goes together with plastic snaps, not velcro. Yeah, that really dates it! All the braid and the ribbon down the front are still firmly attached. The headdress is sewn into her hair. It has a thin piece of elastic under the braid that doesn't do much to hold it on - it's really the thread keeping it there. She has gold-toned stud earrings and a similar ring in her right hand. Her red boots are a kind of flexible but sturdy plastic and are in great condition. She also comes with her doll stand.
Russian Barbie has the classic Barbie body, so she can wear any Barbie fashion from 1959 to the early 2000's. Her arms are permanently bent into this position. All her joints work properly and do not appear to be loose. She has mold seam lines down the fronts and backs of her legs and a pinprick molding hole inside each lower thigh, like most all of her kind. This doll is part of my personal collection and has never been played with.  I will not undress the doll to check her for other marks or stains, but I did not see any while taking photos and handling her. I am her original owner.
She has no box but will be shipped in a padded envelope to protect her. I will do my best to wrap her head to protect her hat. If you wish her shipped in a box for additional protection, I can do so, but please message me before paying as that may change the shipping cost. Shipping cost will depend on where you live. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 item.
This doll has been in my non-smoking home for several years. I have 3 cats who do not bother the dolls, but cat hair is not only a fashion accessory in this house, it's often a condiment. I try to keep them away, but don't be surprised if one or more hairs decide to hop a ride.

I do not give partial refunds, and I will not separate dolls from outfits they are listed in. Don't even ask.

I use USPS shipping with tracking to send your item(s). If the tracking says it arrived, it arrived. If it's not there, that's your problem. You are required by ebay to provide a safe place for delivery. If you would prefer to sign for your package to keep it from being a victim of porch piracy, please contact me at the close of the auction so that I can adjust your shipping costs.
