Polynesian Barbie

Description

Polynesian Barbie is from 1995. She has the classic Barbie body, so she can wear any Barbie fashion from 1959 to the early 2000's. Her arms are permanently bent and do not straighten. All her joints appear to be working properly and her knees click and hold twice. Her hair is long, black, and shiny. It has quite a few fly-aways, but it is soft and comb-able. Her face paint is original and vibrant. She wears a red printed bikini top that velcros in back, and a faux grass skirt attached to a waistband that matched her top. The flowers around her neck are not a circular lei - they are attached to her bikini straps and basically lay over her chest and shoulders. The flower headband has elastic around the back, but it is held in place with plastic hangtags into her head. Ouch. There is a ribbon and bead edging around the waistband of the skirt that is sewn in place. She does not have shoes. She does have her doll stand. This doll is part of my personal collection and has never been played with.  I will not undress the doll to check her for other marks or stains. I am her original owner.
She has no box but will be shipped in a padded envelope to protect her. If you wish her shipped in a box for additional protection, I can do so, but please message me before paying as that may change the shipping cost. Shipping cost will depend on where you live. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 item.
This doll has been in my non-smoking home for several years. I have 3 cats who do not bother the dolls, but cat hair is not only a fashion accessory in this house, it's often a condiment. I try to keep them away, but don't be surprised if one or more hairs decide to hop a ride.
I've done my best to describe the item, but I may not have caught every flaw it might possess. Photos taken by me are there to show the item and

. They will count towards any dispute. If you cannot tolerate imperfection, this item is probably not for you and you shouldn't bid on it. I am downsizing my collection and I cannot take things back or issue refunds.
I do not give partial refunds, and I will not separate dolls from outfits they are listed in. Don't even ask.

If you live outside the USA, you must have a shipping address in one of the accepted countries for this program or your bid will not be accepted.
I use USPS shipping with tracking to send your item(s). If the tracking says it arrived, it arrived. If it's not there, that's your problem. You are required by ebay to provide a safe place for delivery. If you would prefer to sign for your package to keep it from being a victim of porch piracy, please contact me at the close of the auction so that I can adjust your shipping costs.
