    Description

    The Malaysia 50 Ringgit Banknote is part of the 2009-2017 Fourth Issues. This TAP authenticated banknote is colored green and blue and it measures 145 x 69 mm. The obverse side shows songket (traditional woven fabric) patterns, a bunga raya (Rosa-sinensis hibiscus) flower, and Tuanku Abdul Rahman wearing tengkolok headgear. The reverse side shows the BNM logo, agriculture and technology represented by oil palm trees, microbiology technology, and Malaysias first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj declaring independence. This banknote has a LEAD holographic stripe design.
