    Description

    The Malaysia 5 Ringgit Banknote is part of the 2009-2017 Fourth issues. The front side features Tuanku Abdul Rahman wearing the tengkolok headgear with the national flower-hibiscus, and patterns of the traditional fabric-the songket. While the back side shows the emblem of the Central Bank of Malaysia depicting Kijang Emas (Malaysia Barking Deer-Muntiacus muntjak) and Rhinoceros Hornbill (Buceros rhinoceros) birds. This banknote measures 135 x 65 mm and is green in color. It also has the signature of Governor Tan Sri Muhammad bin Ibrahim who has contributed significantly to international and regional community on the issues of central banking, economics and finance in the country.
