    Description

    This old Ethiopian Coptic Christian cross comes with a substantial 21 inch silver chain. An early coin silver tribal pendant worn for protection and tribal affiliation.
    Probably made by a Falasha Jewish silversmith using the lost wax method of casting,worn and treasured as a talisman for protection and a Christian tribal neck pendant.
    A great addition for a collector concerned with authenticity and early, simple design.
    Cross measures 3 by 2 1/4 inch and weighs two and a quarter ounzes
    It has been in my collection for over 50 years.  I am letting go now in old age.
