    Antique Oriental Niello Style Buckle 6371
    Antique Oriental Niello Style Buckle 6371
    Very unusual large brass belt buckle which I'm guessing is Chinese or some other Asian design.
    It has the same figure or letter repeated in a raised pattern on the top and bottom, as well as enlarged on each end.
    Buckle is curved and has a center bar with a rotating loop for threading through a belt hole.
    Finish is similar to Siam Niello Enameling with black enhancing the metal.
    5" x 1 3/4".
    Thickness varies between 1/16" x 1/8"
    Fair condition - enamel is splotchy and uneven and a few areas have green spots.
