This is a worn antique Haile Selassie / Conquering Lion silver coin currency medallion which comes from Africa and which makes a handsome centerpiece for this collectible necklace. This antique, Haile Selassie silver coin was turned into a medallion by Ethiopian metalsmiths and is strung on Tiger Tail which is a very strong metal wire coated with plastic that is very flexible and makes a comfortable necklace. The beads chosen for this piece are antique molded glass Czech beads, Venetian red white heart beads, antique carnelian agate stone beads and handmade African brass metal beads. This silver medallion necklace is ended with a sterling silver lobster clasp with sterling silver crimp beads and measures 21.80 inches long from one end to the other end.
